Our Mission

At Old Dominion Day School, we strive to help every child bring out the best in themselves. Teachers promote both academic and social development through play-based learning, encouraging their children to become more independent and creative as they grow. Our goal is to ensure each child is provided with an opportunity to learn and express themselves everyday so they feel comfortable and excited to attend kindergarten after graduation.

Our Center

As one of the oldest childcare centers in Charlottesville, Old Dominion Day School has served the community for over 40 years, and we are always looking forward to new faces coming through our door. Our facility is licensed through the Virginia Department of Social Services, and all staff members are both First-Aid and CPR certified in case of emergency.
