Three’s: Age 3 – 4 years
Q: What is the overall objective of the class?
A: Our goal is to create a play-based environment geared towards nurturing manners, critical thinking, self reliance and Jr. Kindergarten preparation through reading, writing, music/dance, discussion groups and play.
Q: What types of play/activities are provided?
A: Children learn tremendously through play. Play-based games, free play as well as outdoor time provide endless possibilities for children to gain important communication and socialization skills in addition to learning the importance of self expression.
Q: Is a specified nap/rest time still encouraged?
A: Yes, with the exception of infants, we hold a 2 hour center-wide nap period.
